Questions

Do I need a broker account?

No — the free plan works on delayed data with no account at all. You only connect a broker on Pro, when you want real-time data and one-click execution. It uses the broker account you already have, so there’s no separate data bill.

What markets can I trade?

Futures (the CME complex and more) and US stocks today, with more venues as broker integrations land. Charting, the War Room, and macro news cover global markets out of the box.

Where do my keys and data live?

On your machine. macrodesk is a native desktop app — your broker tokens, layouts, and history stay local. There is no macrodesk server sitting between you and your data.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions are month-to-month (or yearly if you prefer the discount). Cancel whenever, and you keep the free charting desk forever.
