1. What macrodesk is

macrodesk is desktop software for charting, market analysis, and order entry. It is a tool you run on your own machine. It is not a broker, dealer, exchange, trading venue, investment adviser, or financial intermediary, and it does not hold, control, or custody your money, positions, or credentials.

Where macrodesk places an order, it does so on your instruction, through a brokerage account that you opened and that you control, under that broker’s terms. Your relationship for execution, margin, and settlement is with your broker, not with us.

2. Nothing here is advice

macrodesk does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and does not recommend any instrument, strategy, or transaction. Every chart, indicator, overlay, alert, statistic, and piece of written material in the app and on this site is informational only.

This applies to the analytical features specifically. Forecasts project candles from a model trained on past prices; the model has no knowledge of positioning, news, or liquidity and provides no confidence interval. AI output is generated text and can be confidently wrong. Gamma exposure figures rest on an assumption about how dealers are positioned, because open interest shows how many contracts exist and never who is long or short. Order-flow tools describe what has already traded. None of these predict price, and none should be treated as a signal.

Every decision and every order is yours. You are responsible for judging whether anything you see fits your own objectives, risk tolerance, and circumstances.

3. Market data

Market data shown in macrodesk comes from exchanges and data vendors, and is provided for your own personal use. You may not redistribute, resell, republish, or make it available to anyone else, and you may not use it to operate a service for others.

Access to real-time data may require you to certify whether you are a professional or non-professional user, and exchanges charge different fees accordingly. That certification must be accurate. If your status changes, you are required to tell us.

Data may be delayed, incomplete, out of sequence, or wrong. Feeds fail, sessions drop, and vendors make mistakes. Never assume a price on screen is the price you will trade at, and never rely on macrodesk as your only source of truth for a position, an order, or an account balance — your broker’s own statements are authoritative.

4. Simulated results are not real results

Paper trading, backtesting, and bar replay run against historical or simulated conditions. They fill orders in ways live markets do not: without queue position, slippage, partial fills, rejections, latency, or the effect your own size has on the book.

Past performance and simulated performance are not indicative of future results. A strategy that performed well in a backtest can lose money immediately in live trading, and frequently does.

5. Software and operational risk

Trading through software carries real operational risk: defects, misconfiguration, failed connections, stale prices, duplicated or dropped orders, machine failure, and outages at any provider in the chain. macrodesk is built carefully and tested, and it will still sometimes be wrong.

You are responsible for monitoring your own positions and orders, and for having a way to reach your broker directly if the software becomes unavailable at a moment that matters.

6. Third-party services

macrodesk connects to services you choose: your broker, market-data vendors, and our payment provider. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms and are outside our control. We do not guarantee their availability, accuracy, legality, or fees, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

7. Your compliance is your responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring your use of macrodesk and your trading comply with the laws, regulations, licensing, tax, and reporting obligations that apply to you where you live and trade. We make no representation that any particular use is lawful in your jurisdiction.

8. Risk of loss

Trading futures, options, equities, and digital assets involves substantial risk and is not suitable for everyone. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses, and you can lose more than your initial deposit. Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely.

9. Severability

If any part of this disclaimer is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in full force to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes

We may update this disclaimer from time to time, and the date above will change when we do. Continuing to use macrodesk after an update means you accept the revised version.

11. Warranties, liability, and your licence

Warranties, limitation of liability, your licence to use the software, billing, and acceptable use are set out in our Terms of Service and are not repeated here. This page is a risk notice; the Terms are the agreement. Read them together.
